India specific Open General Export License to reduce delivery times for defence procurement: UK PM Boris

New Delhi, Apr 22 (ANI): As India and United Kingdom are working towards deepening the bilateral ties shared between the two, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on April 22 informed that Britain is creating an India specific Open General Export License to reduce delivery times for defence procurement. “Since last year, the threats of autocratic coercion have grown even further, therefore it is vital we deepen our cooperation including our shared interest in keeping the Indo-Pacific open and free,” said UK Prime Minister. “The UK is creating an India specific Open General Export License reducing bureaucracy and reducing delivery times for defence procurement,” he added.
