India in touch with Ukraine’s neighbouring countries for education of evacuated medical students: Jaishankar in LS

New Delhi, April 06 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on April 06 said that India is in touch with Ukraine’s neighbouring Countries-Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Poland about continuing education for the students evacuated from Ukraine as they have similar models of education. “Ukraine Government decided there will be relaxation (for students) in respect of completion of medical education. KROK 1 exam, for 3rd-year medical students to go to 4th, postponed to next academic year. Students allowed to pass to next academic year based on completion of standard requirement,” said Dr S Jaishankar in Lok Sabha. “For 6th year students, there is an exam called KROK 2. Ukraine Government decided that on the basis of the results of academic assessments, they will be awarded degrees without taking KROK,” added EAM. “We have been in touch with Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, and Poland (about continuing education for the students evacuated from Ukraine) because they have similar models of education,” said EAM Dr S Jaishankar in Lok Sabha.
