New Delhi, Mar 08 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing a seminar recognising the contributions of women saints in our society on March 08 said that the priority of India lay in the full participation of women in its development journey. “In the war of 1971, our airfield in Bhuj was destroyed by enemies; then the women of Kutch made an airstrip overnight without caring about their lives, for the convenience of the Indian Army's fight. It's historic,” said PM Narendra Modi. “The priority of the country today lies in the full participation of women in India's development journey, which is why we are stressing on reducing the problems faced by our women. We made over 11 crore toilets, under our Swachh Bharat Mission,” PM Modi added.
