International Mountaineering Day celebrated in Srinagar to promote adventure tourism

Srinagar (J-K), Dec 11 (ANI): Jammu & Kashmir has emerged as a major hub for adventure tourism. Realising the potential of UT, Administration celebrates International Mountaineering Day every year to attract adventure enthusiasts. Mountaineering Day was organised on December 11 in Srinagar. Different activities including seminars, workshops, exhibitions and cycling events were part of celebrations. As COVID situation improves, the valley expects high footfall of travellers. Known for its staggering tall mountains, lush green meadows, Kashmir offers a paradise to adventure seekers.
