New Delhi, July 11 (ANI): Isidore Fernandes, former Congress MLA from Goa, who has merged with BJP on Wednesday with 9 others MLAs, has given his reason to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said, “I want to be a part of the development.” “BJP is an inclusive party, on the other side, Congress is a divided house, where everyone is just bothered about themselves,” Fernandes further added, while talking on political development in Karnataka and Goa. 10 of its 15 Congress MLAs in Goa on Wednesday defected to the state’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). State assembly speaker Rajesh Patnekar accepted their request to merge their group with the BJP. The Congress is already grappling with a crisis in Karnataka triggered by its MLAs resigning, throwing the HD Kumaraswamy-led government into a massive crisis.
