J-K: Education department starts first smart classroom for tribal students in Kashmir

Anantnag (J&K), May 05 (ANI): The education department of Jammu and Kashmir started the first ever smart classroom for students of the Gujjar and Bakerwal community at Government Middle School, Peth Halan in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. Under the smart classroom lab, students are imparted teaching as per the latest trends in the education sector. Government started an ambitious project with an aim to provide education on modern lines to tribal children. It will help in protecting interests of tribal people through their education and uplifting their socio-economic status. The Gujjar and Bakerwal community students lauded the step taken by the government for transforming the lives of members of tribal communities in the valley.
