J-K: Forest employees get special training to promote Eco-tourism

Srinagar, Jan 15 (ANI): The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) has organised training programmes for employees of the forest department to promote eco-tourism in Kashmir. The programme is aimed to beautify different locations of the valley to increase footfall at several tourist spots. Through this course, employees of the Jammu & Kashmir forest department will be trained in hospitality services like housekeeping, decoration and room service. As per the Principal of IHM, the state forest department has deployed as many as 20 employees to seek in-depth knowledge about hospitality to utilize the infrastructure. The training programme will boost tourism and revenue. Practical classes are also conducted along with theoretical learning.
