J-K Tourism Department organises day-long festival in Kupwara

Lolab Kupwara (J-K), Nov 15 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department held a day-long festival at Lolab in Kupwara on November 14. The main aim of this festival is to promote tourism and generate employment. A cultural programme, trekking, sports events were also organised during the day-long festival. Tourism Director, Kashmir, Dr G N Itoo said, “We have identified 75 off-beat places in J&K to promote tourism. We have drganized this festival to promote it as a tourist destination and generate employment." Many locals and visitors appreciated this initiative taken by Jammu Kashmir Tourism department.
