Jairam Thakur criticises Congress leaders for wearing ‘black’ on Ram Mandir foundation day

New Delhi, August 6 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on August 06 took a dig at the Congress party for wearing black dresses on August 05 during their protest at the Parliament as that was also the anniversary of Ram Mandir foundation day.He said, “It was inappropriate for the Congress party members to dress in that attire on the same day when foundation stone for the Ram Mandir was laid. It is the reason why the Congress party has disappeared from the country.”He further talked about the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated in the whole nation and said, “Our younger generations were born after the independence. So, they did not witness the freedom struggle. It must remain etched in their minds that it had taken a long struggle to attain Independence.”
