Jaish-e-Mohammed claimed responsibility for Srinagar terror attack: Kashmir IGP

Srinagar, Dec 14 (ANI): Following the terrorist attack on the outskirts of Srinagar that took the lives of two policemen on December 13, IGP of Kashmir Vijay Kumar gave detailed information about the incident and told ANI that Jaish-e-Mohammed's Kashmir Tiger has claimed the attack and police will soon neutralize the troop. “This evening after the end of duty, 25 of our policemen were going from Srinagar to Zewan in a bus, on the way at 6:30 pm, two-three terrorists took advantage of the darkness and opened fire on the vehicle. 14 of our policemen were injured in this,” said IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar. “Our men retaliated in which one terrorist was shot but he managed to escape. Two policemen were slained in the operation and 12 people are out of danger. Jaish-e-Mohammed's Kashmir Tiger has claimed the responsibility, we are monitoring the situation and will soon neutralize this troop,” added IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar.
