‘Jansunwai’ organised by Delhi Police for redressal of public grievances

New Delhi, Decmber 18(ANI): Delhi Police organise Jansunwai camps every Saturday at the Sub-Division level from 11 AM to 01.00 PM in all the districts. The purpose of Jansunwai camps is the direct interaction of complainants with senior officers of the district, thereby ensuring first-hand knowledge of the complaints of their sub-division as well as effective redressal of their grievances. One such public hearing was held at Mansarovar Park police station of Shahdara District. A large number of people participated in this camp and put forward their grievances in front of the officers.This initiative has been much appreciated by all quarters of society, which is helping to bridge the gap between the general public and the police.
