Japanese delegation meets Gujarat Chief Minister to strengthen semiconductor ties

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Sept 05 (ANI): A Japanese delegation led by Yutaka Sasaki Jun, Vice Governor of Iwate Prefecture, along with Japan International Cooperation Agency officials, met Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel in Gandhinagar. The delegation, in India for the SEMICON India-2025, also toured semiconductor industries in Dholera. Praising Gujarat’s growing semiconductor ecosystem, they appreciated state support to Japanese investors. Chief Minister Patel emphasized Gujarat’s commitment to becoming a semiconductor hub and sought long-term cooperation with Iwate in skill development, R&D, and technical support.
