Gumla (Jharkhand), Mar 12(ANI): Mirchai Pat village residents in Gumla district are forced to take medical facilities from the Chhattisgarh government instead of the Jharkhand government. Even after many years of Independence, the village is not having road facilities to reach the hospital for the medical facilities. The villagers have to appeal to the Chhattisgarh government for medical arrangements. They also tried to get the medical facilities through the Jharkhand helpline but they were not provided with facilities because of lack of proper road connectivity. “We called up Jharkhand's helpline number for a pregnant woman but we were told that they won't be able to help us in the absence of the road. We then called for an ambulance from Chhattisgarh. She's being taken to Jashpur. Patients are left to God's mercy,” Ashok Yadav, a local said.
