J&K admin signs MoU to conserve Mughal Gardens in Srinagar

Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir), Aug 11 (ANI): To preserve and conserve the ancient glory of the two most famous Mughal Gardens in Srinagar, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the JSW Foundation has been signed by the J&K administration. Situated on the banks of Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens of Nishat and Shalimar attract visitors from across the world every year.“The Mughal Gardens are live gardens. The monuments here are our past glory so there should be regular conservation. The conservation is done under technical guidance” said Mughal Garden in-Charge, Javaid Ahmad Masoodi.
