J&K: Beekeeping workshop organised in Srinagar to boost employment among tribal youth

Srinagar (J&K) Mar 28 (ANI): In order to provide employment to the tribal youth, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has organised a workshop on beekeeping. They took an initiative to boost the Apiculture sector. Entomology Division of Sher-e-Kashmir University organised the workshop. Numerous Kashmiris earn satisfactorily through honey production. New technologies were introduced by Entomology Division of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Science and Technology (SKUAST) helped to improve the sector. Wild varieties of plants provided sufficient raw material to honey bees for commercial purposes
