Reasi (J&K), October 11 (ANI): The Chenab and Anji Khad railway bridges have strengthened rail connectivity to the Kashmir Valley as part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project. The Chenab Rail Bridge, built over the Chenab River in Reasi district, stands 359 metres above the riverbed and is the world's highest railway arch bridge. The Anji Khad Bridge is India's first cable-stayed railway bridge, constructed to navigate the challenging Himalayan terrain. These engineering landmarks form part of the railway network connecting Kashmir with the rest of India, supporting passenger travel and the movement of goods while improving connectivity across the region.
