J&K: Demand for dry fruits soars in market during Ramzan

Srinagar, April 30 (ANI): Dry fruits are in huge demand during Ramzan. People are buying dry fruits in large quantities intending to make different types of sweet dishes. They break their fast with the mouth-watering sweet dishes at the time of Iftar. People are using dry fruits including almond, apricot, coconut, cashew, raisins and nuts to make their sweet dishes tasty. Dry fruits are scientifically proven to be rich sources of proteins and vitamins. So that’s why people are purchasing dry fruits in large quantities at the time of Ramzan.
