J&K: Govt celebrates ‘World Wetlands Day’ in Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 03 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Government celebrated ‘World Wetlands Day’ at famous Hokersar wetland in Kashmir. Divisional Commissioner Pandurang K Pole along with officials of Wildlife department attended celebrations. Officials also visited inside the Hokersar wetland to take the stock of infrastructure. The wetland has its own importance, apart from the beauty. It is a homeland for thousands of migratory birds. Government organises different programmes aiming to preserve wetlands of the Valley.
