J&K: Indian Army organises ‘Cultural, Art & Food Festival’ in Kupwara

Kupwara (J&K), Nov 01 (ANI): On the eve of National Unity Day, Indian Army organised a special program ‘Cultural, Art & Food festival’ at Panzgam village in Kupwara district of North Kashmir on October 31. It aimed to highlight the culture and promote talent. It also provided a stage to the students to showcase their talent. Various performances were organised including dance and music to showcase the talent of locals and children. Kashmiri traditional dance Rouf and Pahadi Gatka and Bhangra were also performed in the event. Various stalls of government department jobs were also placed for the people. The event witnessed a record of approximately 3,000 tourists who enjoyed the performances presented by the renowned artists of Kashmir. Locals appreciated the Indian Army for organising this fest and providing a platform for the local to showcase hidden talent and employment opportunities for the youth.
