We are doing many activities in the Camp. From pulling boats to ship modelling, we are doing various activities. This camp also gave us a chance to step out of homes and explore a little. We have seen many places that, otherwise we might not have seen. Everyone should get into NCC, it’s a wonderful and powerful experience,” said Chahat Sharma, a Naval Cadet. “More than 100 children have attended this naval camp. We have an All India Nau Sainik Camp held in Lonavala, and this is a pre-Nau Sainik camp where we have different types of activities like boating, rowing, firing, etc. The State administration has supported us with everything we needed. Also, many girl students have joined us than before. We want the ratio to be 50-50. I want people to know that all girls here are as safe as my daughter with me,” said Major General Rajesh Sachdeva, ADG, JK&L, Directorate.
