J&K: Security forces carry out search operations in Poonch ahead of G20 meet

Poonch (J&K), May 20 (ANI): Amid speculations of attacks in J&K, India seems to be on high alert ahead of the G20 meeting that is scheduled for May 22-24. Security forces carried out a tight search operation in J&K’s Poonch on May 20 hours after a mock drill in Srinagar by CRPF’s QAT. Heavy security force personnel have been deployed in the area to carry out the look-out operations. Any vehicle or person passing through the area had to go through tight scanning by soldiers along with constant patrolling. Notably, the G20 meeting is to be held at Sheri Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar.
