J&K: Travel Agents Association of Kashmir conducts 15th Annual General Meet to promote tourism in Pahalgam

Anantnag (J&K), Sept 24 (ANI): Travel Agents Association of Kashmir (TAAK) conducted the 15th Annual General Meet (AGM) at the famous Pahalgam resort of South Kashmir. It aimed to promote tourism on a large scale and planned new future courses regarding eco-tourism. Various prominent tourism players including travel agents, tour operators and officials of the Pahalgam Development Authority were present at the meeting. They discussed the promotion of tourism in Pahalgam and in the valley overall. Notably, the tourism industry is considered the backbone of Kashmir’s economy. So that’s why, this organisation has been conducting annual meetings on different tourist destinations to promote tourist destinations and to attract more tourists. In this way, more and more tourists are expected to come on a large scale, especially during the Autumn season, and enjoy the mesmerising beauty of the valley.
