JNU scuffle: Appreciate diversity, dissent but not violence, says VC Santishree Pandit

New Delhi, April 13 (ANI): Reacting to the scuffle that broke out at JNU premises on Ram Navami on April 10 over ‘food menu’ and ‘Havan’, Vice Chancellor (VC) Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit on April 13 said that they appreciate diversity and dissent but not violence. While speaking to ANI, she said, “JNU is a free university. We respect individuals' choices, it's a melting pot of all identities. Young people have opinions and we appreciate diversity and dissent but let's not end up having violence.”
