Jodhpur clash: 211 people arrested, 23 cases registered till now, says ADG Sanjay Agrawal

Jodhpur (Rajasthan), May 06 (ANI): 211 people arrested, and 23 cases registered in connection to the incident of communal clash in Jodhpur during Eid celebrations, informed Additional Director General (ADG), Rajasthan Police, Sanjay Agrawal on May 06. Earlier today, the administration had relaxed curfew from 8 am to 10 am in Jodhpur on May 06. Sharing the details with Media persons, Additional Director General (ADG), Rajasthan Police, Sanjay Agrawal told, “As of last night, 211 people arrested, and 23 cases registered. Curfew was relaxed for 2 hours and the situation remained normal. People must not pay heed to rumours. We will analyse the situation and will decide further on relaxing the curfew.” Following the incident of communal clash in Jodhpur during Eid celebrations, Jodhpur Police issued orders imposing a curfew besides suspending mobile internet services to check the spread of rumours on May 04.
