Kamal Nath supports MP Bandh by Bharatiya OBC Mahasabha, says reservation should’ve been 27 pc

Bhopal (MP), May 21 (ANI): After Bharatiya OBC Mahasabha called for Madhya Pradesh Bandh on May 21, Congress leader and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that Congress supports the demonstration. “We support them. There has been grave injustice with the backward class. If backward class comprises more than 50 per cent of our state, reservation should've been as per that. We had said that there should have been 27 per cent reservation,” said Kamal Nath on May 21. “We had even made law. But they didn't present it well before SC. Now, they're bringing such a reservation that would mete out only injustice to people. It's not a question of reservation alone, it is about percentage of reservation. They're trying to mislead people,” he added.
