Kashmir Health Dept urges people to follow SOPs amid surge in COVID cases

Srinagar (J-K), Jan 16 (ANI): Amid the surge of COVID-19 cases in Kashmir, the Health Department has taken all precautionary measures to prevent the rising cases. While Speaking to ANI, Director Health Services of Kashmir Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather urged to people for following SOPs and to take the vaccine jabs. “The cases of COVID are increasing for last 1-2 weeks. Omicron variant also reported. We're monitoring the situation and have made necessary arrangements like beds, oxygen. I urge people to follow SOPs and take vaccines,” said Dr Mushtaq Ahmad Rather. The Health Department has issued that patients who are in home isolation have to follow the M’s advised by the experts. The Department has provided health facilities and also trained all the health care providers and engaged local health workers including Aganwadi and ASHAs across villages in the region.
