Aug 28, 2021
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 28 (ANI): Minister of State External Affairs V Muraleedharan expressed his concerns over rising COVID cases in Kerala. He said, “Regarding spike in COVID cases, Kerala government is trying to blame public instead of identifying failures in adopting a strategy. GoI pointed out that home quarantine was a failure and contact tracing was abysmally low. Kerala government should take corrective measures”. Kerala remains the worst-hit state by COVID in India. Kerala reported single-day spike of 32,801 COVID cases.
