K’taka floods: Water from Tunga River enters residential areas, locals evacuated

Shivamogga (Karnataka), Aug 08 (ANI): Water from overflowing Tunga River entered residential areas in Vidya Nagar in Karnataka’s Shivamogga district. Heavy downpour triggered flood-like situation in several areas of the state. Fire Department is engaged in the evacuation of people from the area. Flood has affected many parts of the country including Karnataka, Maharashtra and Kerala.
