Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways looking for expansion in Indian Market

New Delhi, March 21, (ANI): Jazeera Airline CEO Rohit Ramachandran on March 21, talked about the bilateral agreement between India and Kuwait to increase seat capacity and flight operations between the countries.In an exclusive interview with ANI, he said, “There are about 1.1 million people living in Kuwait. Most of them are with middle and low-income jobs and looking for low-cost options to travel back to their homeland. Currently, Jazeera is occupying around 2000 seat capacity in a week and we need to increase more seats. Kuwait-based Low-cost carrier Jazeera is looking for expansion in India the market as the Indian aviation market is growing extensively. Currently, Jazeera Airways fly to eight cities in the country and we seek more cities in the upcoming times. Today around 11 lakhs Indians are living in Kuwait which was once only 3 lakhs in 2007. We have an old agreement regarding seat capacity need to change the capacity as no changes have been made since then.”
