Legal Expert Warns of Rising Sectarian Threat in Gilgit-Baltistan

PoGB, 28 October 2025: - Legal expert Tahir Iqbal Malik from Pakistan-occupied Gilgit Baltistan states that there are issues related to sectarianism, but they are not caused by local people, rather by outsiders and anti-state elements who seek to destabilise the region to misguide the people in PoGB from their basic rights and to disrupt tranquillity in the region. Even after the passing of seven decades, people are still suffering due to failed governance in PoGB, but Haji Gulbar Khan and his government have been using this tactic to shatter the unity and form a menace within the people of PoGB, and it seems to continue further.
