Locals enjoy display of mouth-watering apples in Shimla

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh), Sep 29 (ANI): Two day apple festival kicked off in Shimla. It started on September 27. Hundred of tourists gathered to enjoy the varieties of apples in the heart of the city. With an objective to promote tourism and to introduce apple varieties to the farmers at a single platform the Tourism and Horticulture departments jointly organized the apple festival. Over 50 varieties of apples and apple made products are also being displayed. To draw the tourist attention cultural dances are being performed.
