Low-lying areas in UP’s Varanasi, Prayagraj submerged in rainwater

Varanasi (UP)/ Prayagraj (UP), Sep 30 (ANI): Several residential buildings in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi and Prayagraj have been submerged due to the rise in water level of Ganga River. Water level rose to a significant high as the state received heavy downpour. Rescue teams are present on the spot. Current situation has thrown normal life out of gear as streets were flooded in several parts of UP.
