LS Speaker inaugurates training program for newly elected Pondicherry MLAs

New Delhi, Dec 15 (ANI): Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated a three-day training programme for the newly elected legislators from Puducherry, in Parliament House on December 14. Speaker of the lower house while interacting with the Puducherry Legislative Assembly in the Parliament said that the legislature should ensure accountability to the public, monitoring of governance, control over the executive and review of the policies of the government. “The legislature should ensure accountability to the public, monitoring of governance, control over the executive and review of the policies of the government,” said Om Birla.
