Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala main areas of concern: NDRF DG on flood situation

New Delhi, Aug 09 (ANI): As parts of country are facing flood-like situation due to incessant rainfall, the Director General of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), SN Pradhan said the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala are on the focus of the disaster management agency which has deployed its maximum teams in the concerned areas of such states. “The states of Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala are main areas of concern now and maximum deployments of NDRF teams are in these states. In Maharashtra, districts of Sangli and Kolhapur are the matter of concern where there is severe flooding,” Pradhan told ANI.
