Maharashtra: Three coaches of Puducherry Express derail in Mumbai

Mumbai, April 16 (ANI): Three coaches of Dadar-Puducherry Express derailed near Matunga railway station in Mumbai on April 15. Derailment happened at around 9:45 pm. No causalty was reported in the incident. “We received information that 3 coaches of 11005 Dadar-Puducherry Express near Matunga Station derailed around 9:45 pm. No casualty was reported. We immediately suspended the adjacent line traffic due to safety reasons. We're trying to restore the 3 coaches and fast line traffic as soon as possible,” said Shivaji M Sutar, CPRO, Central Railway, Mumbai. “We'll try to restore the fast line till the morning. An investigation of this derailment will be done,” he added.
