Manipur: Indian Railways constructing world’s most challenging bridge on Jiribam-Tupul-Imphal route

Imphal (Manipur), Nov 27 (ANI): Indian Railways is constructing world’s tallest bridge pier in Manipur, which will be a part of 111 km long Jiribam-Imphal railway project. “The project has been divided into four-phases. The last phase will be done by December 2023”, said Sandeep Sharma, Chief Engineer of the project. As per the Chief Engineer, after the construction, the bridge crossing Noney Valley will become the world's highest pier bridge.
