Martyrs' Day: Rahul Gandhi pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi

New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paid homage to Father of Nation, Mahatama Gandhi on his 74th death anniversary at Raj Ghat in Delhi on January 30. January 30 is observed as Martyrs' Day across the nation. “A Hindutvawadi shot Gandhiji. All Hindutvaists feel that Gandhiji is no more. Where there is truth, Bapu is still alive there!” the Wayanad MP tweeted. Mahatma Gandhi was assassinated by Nathuram Godse on January 30, 1948. Mahatma Gandhi played an important role in India's freedom struggle through non-violence and peaceful ways.
