MEA notes EU Parliament’s decision to defer voting on CAA

New Delhi, Jan 30 (ANI): While addressing the mediapersons, spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Raveesh Kumar said, “We have noted the decision of European Union Parliament not to put the CAA resolution to vote today. We have noted that European Commission's clarification that the opinions expressed by European Parliament and its members don't represent official position of EU.” On January 29, European Parliament held a joint discussion criticising Citizenship (Amendment) Act.
