MoS Nityanand Rai calls Deoghar Ropeway incident ‘Unfortunate’, says rescue operations are underway

Patna (Bihar), Apr 12 (ANI): Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai on April 12 called the Deoghar ropeway mishap an ‘Unfortunate’ incident and informed that rescue operations are underway and all Central Agencies are engaged in evacuating people. He said that the teams of Air Force, ITBP and NDRF are rescuing people as operations are underway and added that Centre’s are providing all necessary facilities to people stuck. “The ropeway incident in Deoghar is unfortunate. Air Force, ITBP, and NDRF teams have rescued people, operations are underway. Along with local administration, all central agencies are engaged in evacuating people. We have provided all necessary facilities to people stuck,” he said.
