MOSCOW: Bilateral Space Cooperation Takes Center Stage at Indian Embassy

Moscow (Russia), September 05 (ANI/ TV BRICS): National Space Day in India is more than a celebration—it’s driving global partnerships. At the Indian Embassy, diplomats and experts from India and Russia discussed Chandrayaan’s success, new investments, and technology exchange, highlighting a shared vision for future space exploration. Established after Chandrayaan-3’s historic landing at the lunar south pole in 2023, the day now marks India’s rising space ambitions. By 2027, the country plans to send its first crew into space, with astronauts already training in Russia. Currently, New Delhi and Moscow are deepening ties in three key areas—manned missions, engine construction, and satellite navigation. Russian specialists are already assisting with spacecraft systems for India’s upcoming Gaganyaan mission—bringing the two nations closer in their journey beyond Earth.
