MP: Rs 1.72 lakh crore sent to accounts of farmers in last two years, says Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Bhopal (MP), Mar 25 (ANI): Speaking on the cooperation of Madhya Pradesh government in waving off the loans of farmers, state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on March 24 said that a total of Rs 1.72 lakh crore has been sent to the bank accounts of farmers in the past two years. “Congress waived off Rs 6,000 crore loans of farmers, under which they asked banks to pay half of it and ruined them. We have given Rs 1.72 lakh crore to farmers in their accounts in the last two years,” he said.
