N Biren Singh to continue as Chief Minister of Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), Mar 20 (ANI): N Biren Singh will continue as Chief Minister of Manipur. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made the announcement on March 20 at a meeting with the newly-elected BJP MLAs in Imphal. BJP’s central observers Nirmala Sitharaman, Kiren Rijiju, and other BJP MLAs felicitated the unanimously elected Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh in Imphal. The BJP had formed the previous government in the state with the support of the Naga People's Front (NPF) and the National People's Party (NPP) with Biren Singh as Chief Minister.
