NABARD helps water deprived village of Udhampur, offers employment to locals

Udhampur (J&K), Oct 16 (ANI): National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) helped water deprived region Channi Mansar Panchayat of Udhampur. It provided agricultural skills, watershed project and social strength to the village. The ‘watershed’ project was started in the village to solve water deficiency problem. The entire project aimed at soil and water conservation measures. It also opened doors of employment to locals. After Samba, Udhampur became the second district to receive the scheme of NABARD.
