Kathmandu (Nepal), July 13 (ANI): Former Nepal Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba returned to Kathmandu on Thursday after nearly six months abroad for medical treatment. Deuba, who was beaten during Gen-Z protests last September, was welcomed at the airport with musical bands, cultural performances and large gatherings of party cadres. The 80-year-old leader had travelled to Singapore in February with his wife, Arzu Rana Deuba. Addressing supporters, Deuba said he had returned not to seek power but to serve Nepal with humility, dedication and love. His return comes amid growing factional tensions within the Nepali Congress.
