Nepal: Hindu devotees immerse idols of Lord Vishwakarma with fanfare

Kathmandu (Nepal), September 19 (ANI): Nepal marked Vishwakarma Puja with traditional rituals along the Bagmati River at Chovar gorge, where dozens of idols of Lord Vishwakarma — the divine architect and craftsman of the gods — were immersed after rituals of forgiveness. Worshippers honored him as the creator of celestial palaces, flying chariots, and divine weapons. The festival holds deep significance for workers, artisans, and craftsmen, who seek blessings to boost productivity and creativity. Factories, workshops, offices, and vehicles are decorated, and machinery is worshipped as part of the celebration. Vishwakarma Puja serves as a spiritual reminder
