‘New landmark created’: Assam CM after state’s first woman Finance Minister presents Budget

Guwahati (Assam), July 17 (ANI): Assam Finance Minister Ajanta Neog presented annual Budget on the floor of the House on July 16. She is the first woman Finance Minister in the history of Assam who presented the annual Budget. “For the first time in the history of Assam, a woman Finance Minister, Ajanta Neog has presented annual Budget on the floor of the House. A new landmark has been created today in the floor of the House. In this Budget, we have tried to implement all our election promises,” said Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma.
