NGO organises COVID-19 awareness program in Kashmir valley

Srinagar, Jan 29 (ANI): An NGO organised a special awareness program on surgical care during COVID-19 situation in the Kashmir valley. A number of doctors and health experts also participated in these programs. Despite the fact that the government health sector has improved in the last few years, some reputed Non-Government Organisations (NGOs) are also playing a great role to help people during the pandemic. These organisations have latest machineries and medical equipment including high-tech ambulances, oxygen concentrators, wheel chairs, and stretchers. The Jammu and Kashmir’s Department of Health has also worked in association with these NGOs to help people at the time of emergency like the COVID-19 pandemic.
