Number of BOPs increased by 25 in last 5 years: ITBP DG SS Deswal

New Delhi, Oct 23 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in the national capital on October 23, the Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) SS Deswal said, “In the last five years, we have increased the total number of Border Out Posts (BOPs) by 25. This year we will conduct a survey of the border from the northwest point starting from Karakorum up to Myanmar border to assess how many more BOPs can be setup.” “Currently, we have 180 Border Out Posts (BOPs) and soon new BOPs will be added,” ITBP DG added.
