Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi addresses public grievances at 19th ‘Jan Sunani’ in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) July 27, 2026 (ANI): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, along with Cabinet Ministers, attended the 19th edition of the ‘Jan Sunani’ public grievance hearing in Bhubaneswar, where he listened to the concerns of specially-abled persons and citizens. Around 700 people registered their grievances through online and offline platforms during the hearing. Addressing the needs of citizens, financial assistance of over ₹6 lakh was provided to 12 individuals for medical treatment. The Odisha government informed that more than 96% of grievances received during the previous 18th Jan Sunani programme have been resolved, highlighting the administration’s focus on speedy grievance redressal and citizen-centric governance.
