Odisha CM Mohan Majhi listens to grievances of citizens at 20th 'Jan Sunani' in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Aug 24, 2026 (ANI): Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi along with Cabinet Ministers, listened to the grievances of specially-abled persons and citizens at 20th 'Jan Sunani' public grievance hearing in Bhubaneswar on Aug 24. Around 600 people have registered their grievances online and offline and 16 people were provided financial assistance of over Rs 14.5 lakh for medical treatment. Over 95 pc of grievances were received during the previous 19th hearing have been resolved. “...Today alone, we receive over 600 grievance petitions, both online and offline. While this is the 20th session, in the preceding 19 sessions, out of 15,327 cases received, 14,519, or 95%, are resolved... Following this same approach, grievance hearings are also conducted at the grassroots level, specifically at district and block headquarters, on a rotational basis, under the leadership of DMs and their teams of officials. Based on reports covering the period from 1st July 2024 to the present July, 233,344 out of 269,394 grievances, or 87%, are resolved. Our administration is known as a 'people's government'; wherever the public faces issues, we invariably reach out to address them...,” said Mohan Charan Majhi
